Privacy
An honest inventory of what this site touches, who processes it, and how a reader can refuse it.
What we do not collect
There are no accounts, no login wall and no comment section, so no name, email address or phone number is collected.
There is no advertising, no ad network, and no cross-site tracking.
No tracking cookies are set.
Traffic measurement
Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, performs no browser fingerprinting and does not track individuals across sites; what comes back is aggregate pageviews, referring domain, country and device class.
In practice: we know an article was read some number of times today. We do not know who read it.
Third-party requests
Every page is hosted and served by Cloudflare, which necessarily sees the reader’s IP address. That is a technical property of any hosting arrangement, not a choice we can opt out of.
The interactive home page asynchronously loads Google Fonts for specific typefaces. That request exposes the reader’s IP address to Google but is not tied to any identity. Article pages load no external fonts at all, so reading an article makes no such request.
To avoid these requests entirely, block fonts.googleapis.com in your browser; article typography does not depend on it.
Your choices
There is currently no mailing list, no push notification and no reader account. If a subscription is added, this page will be updated before it goes live, stating which fields are collected, who processes them, and how to unsubscribe in one click.
Reader data is never sold, rented, swapped, used for model training, or licensed to a third party.
